At the recent Spring Meeting of Guys Who Care North Simcoe, there were around 20 new faces welcomed to the group. Three very worthwhile pitches were made for the funding raised with an emphasis on including local charities that had not received grants in over ten years of Guys operating.
Now in their eleventh year, Guys Who Care raises funds twice a year. Every cent raised goes directly to the chosen charities and the cumulative to date is over $430,000.
At the latest meeting, held at Lilly’s Italian Eatery in Midland, a total of just over $23,000 was raised for BGC (Boys and Girls Club) North Simcoe.
