Guys Who Care North Simcoe held their ninth meeting on Monday, October 28th, 2019 at the Midland Golf and Country Club in Midland, Ontario. We had another great turnout! After three compelling pitches for three local charities, “The Guys” put the decision to a vote and selected the Wendat Community Programs, to be used by the Crisis Management and Resource Team. The program facilitates the provision of a trained counsellor to accompany police when called to any incident where mental disability may be a factor. This can save police time and be much better experience for everyone involved. The donation amount raised at the meeting and from absent Guys who sent in their cheques was whopping $20,000.00!
