The extraordinary circumstances surrounding the COVID pandemic resulted in a change from the usual format this spring. Guys Who Care North Simcoe held an online fundraising effort and what an effort it was. We flexed our rules and ended up raising a new record amount of money and donating the proceeds to three charities very much involved in the immediate consequences presented by COVID:
Georgian Bay General Hospital COVID-19 Fund: $15,200
Salvation Army Midland Food Bank: $11,950
Community Reach [transportation services]: $10,300
A grand total of $37,450!!
