The Society of St.Vincent de Paul St.Mary’s Conference is an organization whose members work as a team to serve the poor and those in need. Their clients are men, women and children who either as individuals or as families are encountering difficulties in their lives. They provide them with food, financial and emotional support. They counsel and guide them towards the many resources available to them. Some of their clients may be homeless or have no source of income. Others are individuals searching for employment, seniors on fixed incomes or the working poor in our area not able to make ends meet. Many are enrolled in government assistance programs. They try to fill in the gaps until their clients can get on back on their feet. They currently support over 100 individuals anyway they can.

The Society of St Vincent de Paul – St Mary’s Conference, Victoria Harbour were informed of the $14,225 donation in May 2016 and they were completely overwhelmed at the generosity of this group of men. This donation came at an import time for their organization as they supported many individuals and families within the community.
